Refund policy

Items purchased at Dry Creek Music are eligible for a two-day (48 hour) trial period, beginning when the carrier confirms delivery.

During cold weather, the trial period for shipped items may be extended to allow the instrument to warm up.

Returned items must be in original, brand new condition and must have no signs of wear or use. This includes (but is not limited to) buckle rash, pick scratches, scuffs, dings or scrapes. The warranty card must not be filled in or submitted.

How to return something

• Call, text, or email to let me know you'd like to start a return.
• Return shipments must be sent within three business days, packed in the original shipping carton with the materials it arrived in.
• Return shipments must be insured for the full purchase price and must use the same service that was used for outbound shipping (typically UPS Ground).
• Return shipping is at your expense. Items damaged in return transit are a claim against the shipping insurance, not a refund.
• Upon receipt and inspection, I'll refund the original purchase amount less my outbound shipping costs, within two business days.

Processing fee

• A 3.5% processing fee is deducted from the refund to offset non-refundable payment processing costs.
• The fee is waived on exchanges, and on purchases paid by cash, check, wire, or ACH.

Exceptions

The following are not eligible for refunds or returns:

• Instruments modified at your request, including pickup installations
• Purchases involving a trade
• Custom orders
• International sales
